The Outrunners
The Outrunners are a lesser branch of the Andalusian military. They’re basically traveling police officers that protect, serve, and generally spread the good will of the throne. They also gather intelligence, investigate disturbances, and help anyone in need. The Outrunners are comprised mostly of younger initiates with aspirations toward the Andalusian free-standing army, The Royal Guard. Some remain Outrunners for life and go into more administrative and commander roles within the organization.
The Outrunners are sworn to an oath to follow the orders of their superiors who get their orders from the Royal Throne itself.
The Typical Outrunner
Most Outrunners are young, late teens to late twenties, adventurous, head-strong, active, and feel a strong sense of duty to help the citizens of the Vale.
