First update is up!

We’ve posted the first five pages of Chapter 01 – “The One You Feed”. We’re also working on some “under the hood” stuff for the site (like a better comic index and that mythical progress bar).

Now that the comic factually exists, we’re looking forward – thinking of stuff to post between the updates. These could be one-panel comics, warm-up illustrations, comic strips, or even short stories to help flesh out the world of “Lost in the Vale”.

If you can think of something you’d like to see us post between the updates or if there’s something you’d like to know more about, leave us a comment or contact us and let us know what you think.

We hope you enjoy the first (of many) updates and we hope you’ll come back for the next one!

That’s amazing! I love the layout of the comic, it’s really unique and in good style, but simple 🙂

I can’t wait to read more of your stuff.
It’s brilliantly done and the art is superb.

I’ve read quite a lot of webcomics out on the world wide web.

Some of my favorite things I’ve see that are in addition to the regular comic are:

    1. A back-story journal by the heroine. Shadowbinders has this.

    2. Guest strips. Many of the daily updaters take breaks by having their peers draw them a quick one off sketch/parody, and they fill a week with quirky guest strips. Questionable Content, and Girls with Slingshots are known for this.

    3. Sketch Art fillers. Two of more art based webcomics frequently posts sketches they’ve drawn. 1 as a break to a regular sketch, the other as a tide-me-over for his followers, as the comic has been on semi-hiatus for 2 years. Weregeek & Megatokyo.
